Blu Heron

Blu Heron is a realty group, from past collaboration with their co-founder, they came to 1221 to design their logo and signage. They needed a design that would immediately communicate professionalism, trust, and relevance.

Logo Design: The logo mark combines a deep blue circle with a white heron in flight, symbolizing upward movement, vision, and precision. The base features a city skyline carved in negative space, grounding the brand in its market. This blend of motion (the bird) and place (the city) created a logo that tells a story at a glance. Typography and palette were selected to position the brand as modern and trustworthy. Signage System: We applied the identity to yard boards and for-sale signs. High-contrast layouts ensured the brand was recognizable from a distance while staying cohesive with digital assets. Merchandise: To extend the brand’s presence beyond traditional real estate collateral, we designed and printed branded t-shirts. These served as both promotional merchandise and team uniforms, creating unity within the group while projecting professionalism to clients.

The identity transformed how Blu Heron presented themselves. The team loved the outcome, feeling it authentically captured who they were. From yard signage to branded apparel, the rollout gave them a cohesive presence that projected polish and professionalism. The new branding gave the business greater confidence in how they showed up in the market, and ensured recognition across every touchpoint.
